FAIROAKS OF DENTON INCORPORATED Affordable Senior Housing The essential human need for shelter lasts a lifetime and is difficult to maintain when an individual’s income is limited. Because we value people, we are committed to responding to this reality with affordable housing for low-income older adults and persons with limited mobility. We also make available transportation, educational opportunities and social outlets allowing residents to manage their lives more independently and stay actively engaged in their community. PCH continues to be the leading provider of service-enriched affordable housing in our communities in Plano and Denton. We respond to the changing needs of our target population by bringing innovative programs and services which enhance their quality of life. VISION For the last 30 years, Plano Community Homes has been recognized as both a regional and national leader in affordable housing with supportive services. Navigating through the next decade, PCH will continue to provide and expand its affordable housing and superior services through progressive thinking and actions MISSION Positively enrich the quality of life for residents in need by providing premiere affordable senior, disabled and veteran housing in addition to a continuum of services. Actively inspire and educate community leaders to advocate for housing and the continuum of services needed in the North Texas region. ABOUT US WE OFFER Because of the donations, small and large, made by members of the greater DFW market, grants, and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) subsidies and other funds, Plano Community Homes has the privilege of offering its residents lifestyle activities and amenities such as: Laundry rooms Service Coordination Transportation services Wellness & Fitness Centers 24 hour monitoring of Fire Alarm Services and Emergency Systems Smoke Free Units Planned Programs and Activities Dances, Potluck Dinners, Birthday Celebrations, Volunteer Opportunities, Arts and Crafts, and monthly outings to name a few. Plano Community Home complexes are attractive, modern living communities designed to serve low-income persons 62 and older, veterans and those who require the features of our accessible units. Our communities began as a creative vision of a few dedicated individuals who saw the need for low-income housing for seniors. For more than 30 years, that vision has been supported by dedicated Board of Directors, sponsoring churches and organizations, staff members and most importantly volunteers.
