ARGA NOVA DANCE

ARGA NOVA DANCE Beckles Dancing Company (BDC) has been a contributing leader in the Dallas-Fort Worth dance community, with an emphasis in the South Dallas area for over 28 years. For most of those years, we have been a community partner with the South Dallas Cultural Center (SDCC). We are housed in the facility and teach free dance classes, hold rehearsals and performances and have a shared office. We have successfully produced the South Dallas Dance Festival (SDDF) for over 20 years. This festival creates a space for local artists to display their works to audiences in our greater Dallas region. The SDDF also funds the South Dallas Dance Festival Scholarship through the Dance Council of North Texas. This season our BDC company doubled in size, we added to its staff an Assistant Artistic Director and Dance Captain. They work alongside the Artistic Director and Managing Director in the personal development and training of company dancers for the overall growth of the dance company.
