OUR CASAS RESIDENT COUNCIL INCORPORATED In Loving Memory of Ezekiel Romo 04/10/50 - 04/02/25It is with great sadness and regret that we, the staff at Our Casas Resident Council, Inc., must announce the loss of our Executive Director, Ezekiel (Zeke) Romo. He passed away on the morning of April 2, 2025, eight days away from his 75th birthday. Zeke worked with Our Casas from November of 2016, and served as Executive Director from December of 2019 through April 2, 2025.Zeke was very passionate about helping our community. He positively impacted the lives of every person he worked with and knew. He was well known as a kind, compassionate, and caring man with a heart of gold. Here at Our Casas, Zeke was more than an Executive Director; he was a beloved mentor, and he made us all feel like family. Zeke will be dearly missed; may he rest in peace. We offer sincere condolences to his family members and loved ones.An Obituary will be posted in the Austin American Statesman.
