AUSTIN ALPHA FOUNDATION The Austin Alpha Foundation (AAF) was formed in 1983 as a non-profit 501C(3) organization, which takes advantage of the opportunity to address many of the prevailing and emerging issues faced by the African American residents of the Austin area. The non-profit status of the foundation provides the community with opportunities to mitigate these disadvantages while making tax-deductible contributions toward the development, expansion, and evaluation of the Foundations public service efforts.
