National Association of State Directors The Charitable and educational purpose of the association shall be to effect leadership, promote policies and foster the highest standards of professionalism among its membership in pursuit of high quality and comprehensive educational and supportive programs for migratory children planned and delivered in a coordinated and efficient manner, including programs to help migratory children overcome educational disruption, cultural and language barriers, social isolation, various health-related problems, and other factors that inhibit the ability of such children to do well in school and to prepare such children to make successful transition to post-secondary education or employment.
