THE ANIMAL RETREAT INC The mission of The Animal Retreat is to save animals' lives through storytelling and education. We do so by providing shelter and care for surrendered/transferred dogs, and supporting the community and local families with behavior and training programs and resources to help them understand and manage their dogs' behavioral health. In 2024, we expanded our capacity to include programming for more at-risk species in the Treasure Valley, beginning with illegally abandoned domestic rabbits. Our community activities now include both dog and rabbit rescue work.
