Girls on the Run of the Bay Area Inc

Girls on the Run of the Bay Area Inc Girls on the Run of the Bay Area inspires youth to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, hands-on curriculum which creatively integrates outdoor exercises and running. We aim to ensure that every participant, no matter their activity level, ethnicity, race or economic status, benefits from our program. Our innovative, 10-week after school program combines training for a 5K with life-skills lessons designed to build character and encourage healthy habits and an active lifestyle in pre-teen girls. During the program, participants are empowered with a greater self-awareness, a sense of achievement and a foundation in team building to help them become strong, healthy, and confident.
