UKWANSHIN KABUDAN Ukwanshin Kabudan is established to provide cultural education of the traditional Ryukyu/Okinawan arts and culture through stage performances, mainly in alignment with music and dance. Ukwanshin Kabudan's mission is to preserve the traditional arts and culture of the Ryukyu islands, now known as Okinawa Prefecture, and to further research the language, customs, music, dance and all other aspects concerned with the preservation of the Ryukyuan people to which members are, but not necessarily connected.
