Friends of the San Francisco Estuary The primary mission of Friends of the San Francisco Estuary is to support the San Francisco Estuary Partnership's work programs and goals; to provide environmental educational activities to the public, concerning, but not limited to, the maintenance and restoration of the San Francisco Estuary through publications and workshops; to assist in scientific research concerning the chemical, physical and biological integrity of the Estuary; and to promote the restoration, maintenance, and enhancement of the Estuary.
