TampaHillsborough County The purpose of the Tampa/Hillsborough County Human Rights Council, Inc. is to advocate and promote through education, publicity, negotiations and other lawful means - the legitimate and human rights of all residents of Tampa and Hillsborough County, to include all individuals regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, national origin, marital status, and persons with disabilities. Whenever feasible, the Council shall work in coorporation with, and in support of, established community agencies/groups that are dedicated to the defense and strengthening of these rights, and its membership and actions shall reflect such goals.
