FLORIDA NATIONAL GUARD FOUNDATION INC Our Mission The mission of the Foundation is to provide support to the men and women of the Florida National Guard in times of emergencies and deployments. To honor and assist those Soldiers and Airmen who have sacrificed their health and well being for the security of our great State and Nation, and to preserve our rich history so the sacrifices of our Soldiers and Airmen are not forgotten. More Info Economic Assistance The Foundation provides economic assistance to current service members and their families for Acts of God (accident, injury, illness) or for Fault of the Guard. Applications must be submitted by the service member’s Soldier and Family Readiness Specialist (SFRS). Service members should contact their unit to find their respective SFRS. Assistance Application Scholarships The Foundation provide scholarships to accredited college, university, or vocational technical school in the State of Florida to dependents (children) of enlisted, commissioned and warrant officers of the Florida National Guard and those that have retired with at least 20 years with the Florida National Guard. Scholarship Application Back 2 School Bash The Foundation works with corporations to help procure school supplies for the dependents of our military. Using the lists that are published by the schools, the Foundation accepts donations of school supplies or purchases items that our children will have what they need to realize their potential.
