FOOD BANK OF SOUTHWEST GEORGIA INC Our mission is to partner with local agencies and communities in an effort to agressively fight hunger in Southwest Georgia by: 1)providing our partner agencies with the food and other grocery items they need to fight hunger and other poverty related issues, 2)sponsoring programs designed to address child hunger and malnutrition, 3)raising awareness about food insecurity, hunger and malnutrition, 4)assisting other agencies (i.e. Red Cross, GEMA, FEMA, etc.) in meeting the needs of those affected by disaster.
