NORTH CAROLINA HEALTHY START FOUNDATION The Foundation's mission is to eliminate preventable infant death and illness in N.C. To do this, we focus on improving the health of women of childbearing age and supporting new parents. We provide statewide leadership for reducing sleep-related infant deaths. Programs build the capacity of community-based organizations working with families and make information and resources available to the public.
