OPPORTUNITIES INDUSTRIALIZATION OF WILSON INCORPORATED To substantially improve the quality of life for rural eastern North Carolina families at the bottom of the barrel. All OIC Wilson services are provided for free. Structure: Founded in 1972 by Howard Jones, OIC in now led by attorney Robert A. Farris, Jr. of Farris & Thomas Law, who serves as a volunteer Chairman and President. The all-volunteer Board of Directors has 13 members and meets bi-monthly. Two Board Members are former OIC Wilson trainees. Experience: OIC Wilson has successfully administered state, federal and local awards within the scope of education, vocational education, workforce development, including services to offenders, veterans, homeless populations and the unemployed. We enjoy a 28+ year history of clean audits. The program enjoys strong community support, including support from our OIC Wilson alumni base.
