KANAWHA STATE FOREST FOUNDATION INC The mission of the Kanawha State Forest Foundation is to protect promote and preserve Kanawha State Forest. The Foundation also works to preserve and promote the historic Civilian Conservation Camp located at Kanawha State Forest in the 1930s. The Foundation offers education opportunities through hikes and outdoor classrooms for inner city students and other local resident as well as visitors. The Foundation uses dues grants donations and hundreds of volunteer hours to accomplish this mission.
