Family YMCA of Emporia-Greensville Inc The Family YMCA of Emporia-Greensville's purpose is to advance our cause of strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The YMCA is a powerful association of men, women, and children committed to bringing about lasting personal and social change by fulfilling its mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. With a focus on nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving the nation's health and well-being and providing opportunities to give back and support neighbors, the YMCA enables youth, adults, families and communities to be healthy, confident, connected and secure. As part of our mission our programs are accessible, affordable and open to all faiths, backgrounds, abilities and income levels. We provide financial assistance to people who otherwise may not have been able to afford to participate.
