TREGO COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY The purpose for which the corporation is organized is exclusively charitable and or educational within the meaning of section 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. The corporation shall be operated consistently for such purposes as a non-profit corporation. In furtherance of these purposes the the Trego County Historical Society may: Said corporation shall have authority to own and operate museums and concessions in connection therewith and accept bequests for the preservation of the Trego County Historical Society.To explore and preserve historical information , facts, collections and documents of Trego County.Promote the knowledge and appreciation of local, state and national heritage through educational purposes.Encourage sharing of collections of historical artifacts and any other material illustrative of the history of this area. Items or collections may be donated or loaned. Items loaned should specify from whom and the time period on display.To expand funds in an eff
