Transforming Futures.What We DoOver the past 15 years, YoungMoms has empowered more than 300 pregnant and parenting young mothers to stay in school, pursue vocational training, parent more confidently, and make healthy personal decisions. Investing in young moms has a ripple effect on their children, families, and the entire community. ​Specialized Case ManagementOur case managers work with each young mom to develop short and long-term goals, create a plan to achieve them, and access area resources to support their families. Monthly Life Skills WorkshopsOnce a month, our team gathers to provide clients with ongoing life skills instruction in areas such as healthy relationships, nutrition, first aid training, and budgeting. These workshops also provide the opportunity for young moms to develop relationships with peers in similar life circumstances and with positive adult role models.Long-Term InvestmentYoung moms can remain in the program up to four years, allowing us to assist them in overcoming obstacles which might normally derail their progress in achieving goals.
