DSHS BOYS LACROSSE

DSHS BOYS LACROSSE In Texas lacrosse is considered a club sport and does not receive school funding support. All of the support for the club comes from donations fundraisers and player dues. The money raised through this non-profit organization will help support the costs of equipment uniforms referees and other associated expenses. In the fall of each school year players will be asked to pay a registration fee which will help pay for uniforms helmets field equipment fall tournament fees transportation and coaches. We will also hold a local lacrosse tournament towards the end of each calendar year with proceeds going towards in-season expenses including referees trainers Spring tournament fees transportation and food for players between games when not played at our Home field. Ongoing fundraising activities would include seeking local businesses for sponsorship opportunities offering a concessions stand during home games selling spirit wear items etc.
