URBAN BYCYCLE FOOD MINISTRY - DES MOINES INC Urban Bicycle Food Ministry purchases and makes food, bottled water and collects other donated and personal care items and delivers to between 475 and 600 homeless or food insecure people every Thursday night, 52 weeks a year. We Served food and water to approximately 24,030 people in 2024. Each Thursday night we make and deliver to unhoused and food insecure persons on the streets of Des Moines, 800 fresh burritos, 400 meat sandwiches and 420 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. We also purchase 225 bananas Oranges, Granola bars and 450 bottles of water each week.
