Our Vision Together we will build a community free from poverty, discrimination and neglect. We envision a community where all members stand on solid ground with the skills and confidence they need to achieve their dreams. When Residents leave the Center, they will have reliable housing, parenting skills, a steady income and savings, and affordable transportation. Addressing Poverty and Homelessness Generational poverty is the #1 cause of homelessness in rural areas.Generational poverty is defined as two or more generations of poverty and once it exists, it will persist without outside intervention.Supportive Services are available in Hancock County.When Residents leave the Center, they will have reliable housing, parenting skills, a steady income and savings, and affordable transportation. FFCC stays up to date on these resources to educate/offer them to the public, and will help people navigate these services, or offer them directly. Learn more about our programs here!
