SNIP Collier Inc MISSIONTo end the suffering and neglect of dogs and cats in our community due to the pet overpopulation crisis through affordable spay and neuter, vaccines, preventative care, and general animal welfare, and through public awareness, education, and outreach We go to where the problem is! SNIP Collier is a "boots on the ground" nonprofit 501c3 organization. We work with the community to tell us where the need is, and we react by going to that community and rescuing abandoned and stray animals that are usually sick or injured. Through our Helping Paws Medical Fund, these animals then get the medical care required, sterilization and vaccines before being placed for adoption with our shelter partners. There are simply too many dogs and cats and not enough homes in Collier County. The most effective and humane way of addressing the pet overpopulation crisis is through community spay/neuter programs combined with education and public awareness. When we spay and neuter our animals, the stress on shelters is greatly reduced!
