CHAPEL HILL WOODTURNERS INC Chapel Hill Woodturners (CHWT) is a non-profit organization founded in 2011 whose purpose is to promote and share the craft and art of creative woodturning. CHWT offers hands-on workshops that range from basic to advanced instruction in woodturning. CHWT also provides weekly "open turning" sessions at a nominal charge to non-members. CHWT is committed to public service through a diverse array of activities including regularly offering demonstrations at farmers' markets and festivals, donations of turned artifacts for fund raising, and hands-on woodturning instruction and items offered at no cost to non-profit medical and charitable organizations.
