ARISE FROM THE ASHES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION The Arise From The Ashes - Community Development Corporation (AFTA-CDC) aims to promote positive growth and revitalization of the historic Pickens Community. We believe residents and members when working together can make Pickens and Surrounding areas a better place to live, grow, raise their families and establish businesses. The organization is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
