JOYDEW FOUNDATION The corporation operates a day program for individuals aged 21 and older with autism. JoyDew has created an integrated program that includes a day program, job training, and employment opportunities, focusing on the unique abilities of adults with autism.Its mission is to provide a meaningful life and a path for growth and development through learning, career advancement, and social engagement all within an autism-friendly environment.JoyDew launched the program on January 29, 2018, with eight members enrolled. By the end of 2023, the program had grown to 17 members. By the end of 2024 the program had grown to 30 members. The corporation opened a new facility in Essex County. The corporation created and impemented a training curriculum to be used by the members to train first responders: police departments and medical center residents.
