Aloha Ilio Rescue Rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home stray and abandoned animals. Seek/enlist volunteers from our community to establish qualified foster homes for animals awaiting adoption and needing rehabilitation, including home inspections and interviews. Provide support to foster homes including coordination of veterinary services and providing transportation to "adoption events" as they are held. Coordinate adoptions to permanent homes including interviews, home visits, and support. Conduct "adoption events" to further our purpose of increasing the number of animals re-homed, and reduce the number of animals euthanized. Coordinate with local businesses to support this effort and provide public space and advertising for the events. Volunteer at low/no-cost spay/neuter clinics, promoting responsible population control. Educate the public through presentations at schools and to other interested groups on the care, available resources and the responsibilities of pet ownership.
