Detroit Abloom Mission - To promote the spiritual mental and physical health of the community; to advance plant-based dietary education; to promote envirnmental conservation; and to use cut flower farming to repurpose blighted vacant land into beautiful and productive landscapes. We fulfill our mission through holding Wellness classes selling and promoting Native Plants conducting a summer long cooking class and dinner series called Food is Medicine and an annual Vegan Fest to promote plant-based eating. To engage our community we offer space to plant veggies herbs and flowers maintain the two acre gardens which are always open to the public classes like yoga tai chi and sound bath at affordable prices. In 2024 we also started holding Detroit Abloom Socials as an easy fun way to get people outside and meet other community members.
