FLORIDA ASSOCIATION OF MANAGING Home What We Do Managing Entities assess the unique needs of individuals, as well as communities as a whole, to tailor all funding to meet the needs of those they serve. This model of providing behavioral health care services to Florida’s uninsured population is an excellent value to the state, to provider organizations, to communities, and, most importantly, to the individuals and families who receive publicly funded substance abuse and mental health services. Care Coordination Develop and manage a community-based system of care that includes “wraparound” services such as housing, employment, and transportation. Read More Accountability Hold partner organizations responsible for contracted services and conduct comprehensive audits to monitor system accountability Transparency Serve communities with complete transparency to taxpayers with oversight from community boards, partnerships with government agencies, and regular reporting.
