BABOOSIC LAKE ROWING CLUB

BABOOSIC LAKE ROWING CLUB The organization has established and maintains a rowing club serving the local and surrounding communities. The club operates in both the spring and fall rowing seasons. In 2024, the club averaged 28 youth members per season. Winter land training is also offered. Training is conducted 5 to 6 days per week, and teams typically row in an average of 5 regattas per season, in New England. The club offers Learn to Row programs through the town's Recreation Department, to support new youth interested in learning the sport. Funds are raised primarily through membership dues, supplemented by fundraising and donations. Funds raised are spent primarily on equipment, equipment maintenance parts and supplies, coaching, insurance, racing fees and other operating costs outlined in Schedule O.
