FAMILY PATTERNS MATTER INC We are local volunteers joining together to improve the lives of families in our community. Because Family Patterns Matter we help families break old patterns and learn healthy ones in their place. What we do Meet families where they are. Determine the need. Validate the problem. Clearly define goals. Provide family support and services. Teach self-reliance. How we do it We hold Youth in Action meetings for pre-teen and teen aged youth. We expose them to a variety of learning opportunities and provide a safe place for them to explore options. We hold parenting classes in which we teach life skills needed such as budgeting and communication. We teach adults and youth coping and communication skills. Why we do it Take away the stigma of needing help. Improve choices of vulnerable youth. Help families become healthy and break old patterns. Where we do it In our community. We hold pop ups and participate in community activities. We hold meetings at our host site Westside Baptist Church at 762 Smokey Road, Newnan GA 30263. We work with other agencies to form a network of support for our families. Outcome Youth are self-reliant, doing well in school and planning for their future. Families have the resources to provide a safe and healthy home where children thrive.
