YOUTH ULTIMATE LEAGUE OF ARLINGTON
Data sourced from IRS 990 public filings
YOUTH ULTIMATE LEAGUE OF ARLINGTON Since founding in the Fall of 2012, YULA provides opportunities for thousands of middle school and high school youth to play ultimate frisbee by providing instruction, coaching, organized practices, tournaments, and league play in Arlington, Virginia. Ultimate Frisbee is a non-contact team game played by players with a flying disc. While Ultimate resembles many traditional sports in its athletic requirements, it is unlike most sports due to its focus on self-officiating. Ultimate relies on the sportsmanship of players and invokes the "spirit of the game" to maintain fair play. Players call their own fouls, and dispute a foul only when they genuinely believe it did not occur. YULA's Mission is to create opportunities for Arlington youth to play ultimate, have fun and grow as individuals and community members. Build a safe and welcoming community for players, coaches and parents where "Spirit of the Game" is of paramount importance.
