Independent Doctors of Georgia Inc Independent Doctors of Georgia, Inc.'s ("IndDoc") primary exempt purpose is to advance the interests of its members, and protect the health care opportunities for patients in Georgia, through lobbying, grass roots outreach, awareness raising and education. IndDoc lobbies Georgia state officials and policy makers, including the Georgia Governor, legislators and relevant agency leaders, to protect the economic freedom of independent physicians and independent physician groups operating in Georgia, which freedom is critical to providing Georgia citizens with a full range of health care options. IndDoc also presents information to Georgia state officials and policy makers about the impact of proposed or future legislation affecting the interests of IndDoc's members. The majority of IndDoc's activities consist of lobbying and outreach to Georgia state officials and policy makers.
