Our School The Montessori School of Peoria is an independent, non-sectarian preschool and elementary school located in Peoria, IL.The small preschool that started in 1977 with twelve Primary students has grown over three decades into an AMS-member school serving children ages 3 to 12. It still has its one-room schoolhouse feel, with multi-age classrooms full of children working independently or together in a spirit of community. We are dedicated to self-discovery and respect for each child. Our students love coming to school. They think creatively.
