Gateway Settlement Fund Alliance 1. To use funds together with their proceeds received from the Gateway Valley Settlement Agreement dated July 13,2004 (GVSA Funds) to acquire land in Alameda or Contra Costa Counties for the purpose of limiting development on such lands or for the restoration of natural wildlife habitat both subject to the minimum standards in the Agreement.2. To the extent that other than GVSA Funds become available, to protect the habitat and wildlife in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties and foster public awareness of the importance of and need for preservation, protection and restoration of our natural resources, open spaces, watersheds, and wildlife habitat for future generations.
