ORC is committed to strengthening families by encouraging the development of parenting skills and supporting overall family growth. ORC also assists with navigating the immigration legal services system, and the transitions that immigrant families inevitably face. In El Salvador, ORC supports elementary schools with student-parent counseling resources, school supplies, and addressing food insecurity to improve the lives of children, their families, and their community.Make A Donation North TexasPresently, about one in every four children in the United States live in an immigrant family. ORC centers attention on providing psychological services to immigrant individuals and families and educational services to various and different community groups to help them understand the shifting demographics of American society and the new immigrant communities.Learn More El SalvadorNearly one-quarter of Salvadorans live on less than $1 per day, and over half live on less than $2 per day. In addition, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) reports that 80 percent of Salvadoran children suffer from cruelty. ORC has a mission to serve Salvadorans in communities with high rates of domestic abuse and needs for culturally responsive mental health care.Learn More Our mission is to positively impact the health, education, and well-being of children and their families in the North Texas area and El Salvador.
