ST LOUIS SKATING CLUB INC To promote the sport of amateur figure skating in St. Louis Missouri; to function as an amateur athletic association to foster national and local competition in the sport of figure skating; to encourage and give guidance for the full participation in the sport of figure skating by all persons, regardless of age, race, religious creed, color, national origin, gender, ancestry, or any other discriminatory practice; to improve and advance amateur skating on ice; to encourage the practice, instructions, and advancement of amateur skating on ice, including U.S. Figure Skating, supported disciplines and basic skills; to educate and inform the public regarding figure skating, with emphasis on its pleasure and healthful benefits; to publish and disseminate information concerning figure skating; to sponsor, produce, or host ice shows, amateur figure skating competitions, or other sanctioned ice events.
