It’s a genuine Northwoods winter experience.Driveway to the Boundary WatersThe moose are out, with their new brown coats, and long-legged youngsters. There’s always a good chance to spot them where cattails grow, in wet areas. So take it slow and watch the side of the road for tracks in the soft shoulder. Stop by the moose-viewing area half-way up the Gunflint Trail, and follow the trails. This area is full of wildflowers, birds, and, if you are lucky, moose!Memories, stories, and good family fun. Take the mystery out of camping in the BWCAW. Not everyone grew up camping and paddling in the Boundary Waters but with a little help, almost everyone has a great experience.
