Minnesota 4-H Foundation The Minnesota 4-H Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, was created in 1981 to generate private funds from individuals, corporations and foundations to assist the University of Minnesota Extension Center for Youth Development in creating and delivering the finest youth development programs in Minnesota. We specifically strive to raise financial support for a variety of 4-H programs at the state level, in each of Minnesota's 87 counties and in partnership with tribal nations. 4-H is open to boys and girls from all backgrounds between the ages of 5-19. Our goal is to provide all Minnesota young people with opportunities to learn, lead and succeed.
