TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN SUCH FURTHER PROGRAMS AS MAY BE DESIRABLE TO ADVANCE THE ABOVE PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES OF THE UNION. TO ASSIST MEMBERS WITHOUT REGARD TO RACE, CREED, COLOR, SEX, RELIGION, AGE OR DISABILITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING WAGES, BENEFITS & WORKING CONDITIONS. TO OBTAIN THE STATUS OF EXCLUSIVE BARGAINING REPRESENTATION FOR ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES WITH THE CEDAR RAPIDS POLICE DEPARTMENT AND TO PROCESS & RESOLVE GRIEVVANCES & ENFORCE ALL OTHER RIGHTS ARISING OUT OF THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE UNION AND THE CITY OF CEDAR RAPIDS.
