GREAT LAKES RABBIT SANCTUARY INC
Data sourced from IRS 990 public filings
GREAT LAKES RABBIT SANCTUARY INC Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary provides a safe haven to abandoned, abused, and neglected domestic rabbits with the goal of adopting them out to loving homes. Those rabbits who are not eligible for adoption, due to either health or temperament, live out their lives peacefully at the sanctuary. We also strive to educate the public regarding the joys of having a house rabbit, rabbit behavior and health, as well as the importance of proper diet and care. The year was as busy as usual with typical number of rabbit intakes and adoption. Generally, we see roughly 70 rabbits that come in from owner surrender and or rabbits caught after being released in the wild. Our adoptions after spaying /neuter surgeries are about the same number or a little less depending on the year.
