Trusted Source​ The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America - Michigan Chapter, (AAFA-MI) has been a trusted source for information, education and training since 1984. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals affected with asthma and allergic diseases by promoting awareness through education and training. ​ We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization who is part of a National group that was founded in 1953. We recognize that asthma and allergic disorders can be devastating health problems that affects over 76 million American's. That's more than diabetes, heart disease, cancer, stroke, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's COMBINED! ​ Despite these gloomy statistics, we believe through reliable education, training and community support, proper management can happen and quality of life will improve.
