BIRDS IN HELPING HANDS Our organizations focus is rescue rehome and educate in three counties. We rescue all kinds of wildlife at times via tree climbing boat kayak jetskis and paddleboards. We are the ones who specialize in difficult rescues which require specialized equipment and a lot of gas to get to the rescues and then transport to a rehab facility. We rescue pets that people released to public parks or just by the side of the road. Also we foster unwanted pets people can no longer keep. The biggest part of our budget goes to food to feed and care for them. Third we go out into the community to educate people on the dangers of rat poisoning discarded fishing line what to do if you find baby birds ducks opossums racoons and squirrels.
