Students for Eco-Education and SEEAGs mission is to educate students and the greater community about the farm origins of their food and agricultures contribution to our nutritional well-being.SEEAGs vision is to inspire our local communities to have a deep appreciation for agriculture and the hands and lands that feed us to ensure the future viability of agriculture in rural and urban communities.Since 2008, SEEAG has educated over 80,000 students and community members about the importance of local agriculture in schools, during field trips and at special events like Ventura County and Santa Barbara County Farm Days.SEEAGs programs include: Farm Lab at Petty Ranch, Ventura County Child Wellness Initiative,STEAM Careers in Agriculture and Ventura County Farm Day and Santa Barbara County Farm Day.
