Broadwater County 4-H Livestock Committee On Schedule O. Total contributions come from donations from businesses supporting the annual 4H fair and Livestock market Sale. We receive funds from donors who sponsor trophies and other awards and in turn the 4H council Livestock pays for those trophies and awards with those funds. The 4H Council Livestock clerks the market sale. Buyers local and businesses pay the Council for each purchase and the Council pays each 4H member who sells a market animal for that purchase less 3.5% commission. That 3.5% retained commission is used to fund educational and improvement projects for all 4H youth.
