CHICAGO ASSOCIATION FOR RESEARCH AND EDUCATION IN SCIENCE The CARES Mission At CARES® (Chicago Association for Research and Education in Science) our mission is to enhance the health care of America's Veterans by supporting the research and education of physicians, nurses, researchers and others at the Edward Hines, Jr. Veterans Administration Hospital, Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital and the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. From beginning to end our efforts are focused on enhancing the health and care of the United States Veterans we serve.
