DOBERMAN PINSCHER SOS Doberman Pinscher SOS provides care for abandoned Doberman Pinschers. We provide medical and behavioral rehabilitation for adoptable dogs and sanctuary for those dogs that are not likely to be adopted. We give precedence to senior Dobermans and to dogs of any age with special needs or those requiring short term intensive care. The dogs are rescued from shelters, turned in by owners, or given to us by other rescues that cannot provide the level of intervention needed for difficult cases. Each dog is evaluated for placement in carefully screened homes; our return rate is very low. We rescue an average of 4 Dobermans a month. 93% of donations go directly to supporting the Dobermans.
