Transducer Research Foundation Inc The organizations mission is to stimulate research in science and engineering, with emphasis on technologies related to transducers, microsystems, and nanosystems, and to foster the exchange of ideas and information between academic, industrial, and government researchers. These objectives will be pursued through a variety of efforts, functions and programs, including but not limited to the following: 1) Sponsoring and organizing regional, national, and international conferences, meetings, workshops and short courses in transducers, sensors, microsystems and nanotechnology; 2) Raising and administering the distribution of funds with the purpose of enhancing and encouraging advances int he fields of transducers, sensors, microsystems and nanotechnology; 3) Fostering liaisons between academic and industrial research and applications; 4) Providing liaisons between government agencies, research institutions, and professional societies to enhance cooperation and collaboration; 5) Supporting
