CHRISTIAN KOEHLER FOUNDATION INC The Christian Koehler Foundation was founded by Janine and Chris Koehler in honor of their son Christian who died in May 2009 at 10 years of age from a Glioblastoma Brain Tumor. The Purpose of the Christian Koehler Foundation is to provide relief to children of Long Island New York who are poor, distressed and or underprivileged. Through financial support raised by the organization and given directly to the families of such children and or to qualified charitable organizations whose purpose is to provide relief and or care to children who are poor, distressed and or underprivileged. Support will be made available to all people without regard to race, creed, social position, lifestyle, or any other discriminating factor(s). The Christian Koehler Foundation is an all-volunteer organization, having no paid directors or staff. Funding is provided by donations from the general public, fundraisers, and a annual lacrosse tournament held at a local state park.
