COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COLLABORATIVE Who We Are The Collaborative is comprised of a diverse group of organizations that share a belief in the value of community based organizations as instruments of change for our neighborhoods. We are dedicated to strengthening the capacity of Community Development Corporations (CDCs) and Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs), thereby developing affordable housing opportunities and pursuing neighborhood revitalization initiatives. What We Do Since 1992, the Collaborative has been providing funding and technical assistance to CDCs to assist in their efforts of transforming Columbus’ distressed neighborhoods into vibrant and sustainable communities. Our Mission Strengthen the capacity of Community Development Corporations (CDCs) to develop affordable housing and revitalize distressed communities.
