NEW ORLEANS CREATIVE GLASS INST The New Orleans Creative Glass Institute (NOCGI) serves glass artists in the city of New Orleans as well as the SE U.S. regional glass community by providing open-access studio space necessary for glass artists to create their works. NOCGI serves as a clearinghouse of information pertinent to the glass arts community such as assistantship job opportunities, calls to artists for exhibitions, custom work commissions, etc. NOCGI also promotes individual glass artists through live public demonstrations of glass working. NOCGI runs workshops, hosts demonstrations and offers tours to familiarize the general public with glass working and local glass artists.
